D. R. Laird is an Ontario artist who is well known for his images of children playing hockey and nostalgic rural scenes, many of which feature dogs and often Newfoundlands.

"Don't Stop Now" is the charming painting depicted on this boxed set of 14 Christmas cards featuring children and a number of different dogs (including a Landseer) enjoying some winter sledding.

The verse reads: "Wishing you and yours all the Season's best.  Happy Holidays"
